Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

The Rock Hill Bearcats came up short against the Dorman Cavaliers on Monday and fell 2-0.

Rock Hill may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 15 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15.

Cale Mitrovich paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up five kills. Mitrovich got some help from Ethan Missaggia and his eight assists.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dorman, the win was the 28th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Rock Hill and Dorman will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bearcats are set to challenge their familiar foe Clover at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. Meanwhile, Dorman will take on rival Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
