Basketball Recap: Rosebud-Lott Takes a Loss

Rosebud-Lott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 34-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granger Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 51-27 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Despite the defeat, Rosebud-Lott saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Pryce Rabroker went 8 for 16 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. Rabroker is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Rosebud-Lott's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Granger, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Rosebud-Lott didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-33 defeat against Holland on the 3rd. As for Granger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 53-27 win against McDade on the 3rd.
