Volleyball Game Preview: Moriarty Pintos vs. Taos Tigers + How To Watch

The Moriarty Pintos are taking a road trip to face off against the Taos Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Moriarty came up short against Los Alamos and fell 3-1.

While Moriarty ultimately came up short, they really made Los Alamos work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Taos unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Los Alamos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since September 16th.

Taos was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-16.

Taos' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-7. As for Moriarty, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.

Moriarty suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Taos when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Pintos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
