Gate City waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 57-37 margin over the Union Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 53-45 back in January.

Gate City's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Coming up, Gate City and Hampton will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Union, they will host Virginia High at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
