The Glens Falls Black Bears will take on the Maple Hill Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glens Falls is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Glens Falls will bounce into Friday's contest after beating South Glens Falls, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Black Bears skirted past the Bulldogs 4-3.
Isabella Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Glens Falls' win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Darielle Gooden, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Those two runs gave Gooden a new career-high.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Maple Hill brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against Watervliet on Wednesday as they made off with a 15-5 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Cannoneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Madison Camadine made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off 11 hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, Olivia Mueller was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those triples were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Rogers, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Glens Falls pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Maple Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
