Baseball Preview: Acalanes Dons vs. Liberty Lions
The Acalanes Dons are taking a road trip to challenge the Liberty Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Acalanes will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Acalanes is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over Miramonte on Tuesday.
Austin McMannamon looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in May of 2024.

Acalanes pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
