Basketball Recap: West Scranton Comes Up Short

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the North Pocono Trojans, falling 68-47. The Invaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

West Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for North Pocono, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-6.

West Scranton will face off against Scranton Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Scranton Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something West Scranton surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Pocono, they will head out on the road to challenge Wallenpaupack Area at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
