Fans got a thrill when Riley Thomas and Christian Kvilvang connected against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock]. The longest such play in 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 76 yards.

Cavalier added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hatton/Northwood, 26-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Thomas threw for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 19-31 with 2 interceptions.

Thomas put up the best numbers in passing as North Star/Starkweather fell to the Wildcats. Thomas' favorite target this week was Alex Weston, who caught 8 passes for 118 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Bearcats' Jayden Komrosky and Weston have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Komrosky has thrown for 560 yards this season, while Weston has 28 catches for 430 yards. Thompson's Ty Myron leads the league in rushing yards with 1,102.

The marquee game in 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) this week will be the clash between Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] and the Thunder. The Wildcats comes into the matchup ranked 22nd in the state, while Hatton/Northwood ranks fourth.

The Tommies' offense has scored 200 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Cavalier has allowed only 0 on the year.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Matt Pulver's team takes on Thompson. The Tornadoes have allowed 0 points this season, while Brady Schwab's team has given up 93.

The Tommies took down Four Winds 61-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Adam Diedrich ran for 100 yards during the win.
