While New Hope put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Choctaw County. Everything went the New Hope Trojans' way against the Choctaw County Chargers as the New Hope Trojans made off with a 12-0 win. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.
The team relied heavily on Jeoreia Henry, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi McBrayer, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
New Hope is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
