Americas gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Socorro Bulldogs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trail Blazers have posted since August 31, 2024.

Americas was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-22, 18-25, 25-12, 15-13.

Coming up, Americas is taking a road trip to challenge Abilene at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Socorro, they will be taking part in a tournament against Life Waxahachie at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
