Atlantic Collegiate Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Bridges Prep 4-3. Even though Atlantic Collegiate Academy got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Ashlyn St. Clair was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Eden Maxwell and Ainsley Maxwell scored all four of Atlantic Collegiate Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Meanwhile, Academic Magnet had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 8-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Academic Magnet, who have now won nine contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Academic Magnet pushed their record up to 14-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
