Loomis Chaffee School entered their tilt with Williston Northampton on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 3-1.

Violet Peverly spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Loomis Chaffee School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Niamh Foley, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Jessica Chieco was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Loomis Chaffee School's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.
