It's playoff time, and Northeastern had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the James Kenan Tigers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 46-28. The victory was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.

Ty'Jae Simpson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 145 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Northeastern's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for James Kenan, they moved to 12-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Northeastern has already played their next contest, a 24-14 victory against Whiteville on the 13th. James Kenan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
