DeWitt has gone 9-1 against Dumas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dragons will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. DeWitt's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Dumas' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

DeWitt fell victim to Palestine-Wheatley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Dragons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Dumas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Monticello, falling 19-4.

Dumas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for DeWitt, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.

DeWitt took their win against Dumas when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
