Baseball Recap: Cloquet Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Branch on Wednesday, Cloquet came back down to earth. The Lumberjacks lost 11-3 to the Cherry Tigers on Thursday.

Cloquet saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Huls, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was Huls' first of the season.

Cloquet's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cherry, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Cloquet will square off against Marshall at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cherry, they will take on New York Mills at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
