Volleyball Game Preview: San Dimas Saints vs. Colony Titans

The San Dimas Saints will venture away from home to take on the Colony Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

San Dimas took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Alta Loma. The Saints not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th.

While San Dimas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Alta Loma scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 26-24.

Jacob Pardus was the offensive standout of the match as he had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Colony made easy work of West Covina on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-14.

San Dimas pushed their record up to 20-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Colony, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

San Dimas beat Colony 3-1 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
