Baseball Recap: Legacy Lightning vs. Cherokee Trail Cougars

Legacy's 17-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 10-6 to the Cherokee Trail Cougars on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Legacy has lost by exactly four runs.

Legacy got a good showing from Cody Harris, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks).

On the hitting side, Henry Stafford was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Giulino Panelli was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

On Cherokee Trail's side, Ethin Woltz looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
