Denver Jewish Day won the last time they faced Denver Waldorf, and Solly Bielsky did his part to make sure it happened again. The Denver Jewish Day Tigers walked away with a 64-57 win over the Denver Waldorf Spartans on Tuesday thanks in part to Bielsky, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Michael Rafailov, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played.

Denver Waldorf's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cayden Quinn, who put up 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Israel Bailey was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points and five boards.

Denver Jewish Day's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Denver Waldorf, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

Denver Jewish Day will venture away from home to square off against Front Range Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Front Range Baptist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season. Denver Waldorf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
