Ayala had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They never let the Diamond Bar Brahmas get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-3 last Tuesday.

Diamond Bar's batters probably weren't too happy with Easton Sarmiento, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (he gave up two walks). Sarmiento has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caleb Trugman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jaden Valenzuela was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Ayala kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in six consecutive matches.

Ayala's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Diamond Bar, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
