Volleyball Recap: Anmi Tao's Big Game Can't Quite Lead the Prairie School over St. Catherine's + How To Watch

The Prairie School was the 3-0 winner over St. Catherine when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Angels on Thursday.

While The Prairie School ultimately came up short, they really made St. Catherine's work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 18-25, 25-23, 25-20.

The Prairie School's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anmi Tao, who had eight digs and two aces. Leticia Berger also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Aniyah Price went supernova For St. Catherine's., getting 24 digs, ten kills, three aces, and one block. That's the most kills Price has posted over her last 11 matchups. Londyn Pardo was another key player, getting six digs and four aces.

The Prairie School has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for St. Catherine's, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
