Baseball Recap: St. Charles East Gets the Win

St. Charles East won the last time they faced Glenbard North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fighting Saints walked away with a 7-4 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Saints.

Nathan Moline looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Feigleson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Mason Daros also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

St. Charles East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

St. Charles East's record is now 5-6. As for Glenbard North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Charles East beat the Panthers by a score of 12-7 on Wednesday.
