Shemar Hooks ran for two touchdowns and
Tyler Gist added two as well as
Winton Woods (Cincinnati, Ohio) defeated
Anderson (Cincinnati, Ohio) 38-12 on Saturday.
The Warriors were up 35-6 at the half after taking the lead on a Hooks touchdown run in the first quarter.
A 28-point second quarter helped Winton Woods secure the big victory. WW scored on four rushing touchdowns in the quarter, including two by Gist.
The Warriors came in allowing an average of 18.3 points per game this season.
Winton Woods also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 39-34.
The win was a nice bounce back for WW, which lost to Elder last week, 28-14.
Winton Woods (6-3) goes up against Glen Este in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Anderson (3-6) locks horns with Kings in a Eastern Cincinnati game.
