Softball Game Preview: Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs vs. Clayton Comets

Southeast Raleigh is 0-10 against Clayton since May of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Southeast Raleigh has given up an average of 18.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southeast Raleigh is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Thursday. They lost 17-6 to Hillside.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Clayton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Johnston.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Southeast Raleigh, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Southeast Raleigh suffered a grim 18-2 defeat to Clayton when the teams last played back in March. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
