Basketball Recap: Pearl River Takes a Loss

After flying high against Metairie Park Country Day last Thursday, Pearl River came back down to earth. The Pearl River Rebels were outmatched by the Archbishop Hannan Hawks and fell 50-20. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Pearl River's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Archbishop Hannan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Pearl River has already played their next contest (against Mt. Hermon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Archbishop Hannan will take on Franklinton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
