Recap: Cypress Christian Warriors vs. Rudder Rangers
The Cypress Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-32 loss at the hands of Rudder.
Rudder's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Holmes, who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryan Campbell, who scored 10 points along with 7 steals.
Cypress Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Rudder, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Cypress Christian is on the road again on Friday and play against Livingston at 12:00 p.m. on December 1st. Livingston comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Rudder, they will face off against Navasota at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Navasota is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
