Basketball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Covington-Douglas Wildcats and fell 61-21. If the Trailblazers were looking for revenge after losing 51-25 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Covington-Douglas, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Cimarron will host Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Covington-Douglas has already played their next match (against Okeene), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
