If River City was riding high fresh off their 85-33 takedown of Florin last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The River City Raiders took a 77-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rodriguez Mustangs. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rodriguez's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khamanni Martin led the charge by going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Adimora, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

River City's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Rodriguez, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

River City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-27 defeat against Sacramento on the 10th. As for Rodriguez, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 90-63 win against Pioneer on the 10th.
