After losing to St. Bernard's Central Catholic the last time they met, Gardner decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bernardians by a score of 7-3 on Thursday. That four run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

The win got Gardner back to even at 4-4. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gardner will challenge Murdock at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, they will head out to square off against North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Polar Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.38 runs per game on average), something the Bernardians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
