Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ferris). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Life Waxahachie Mustangs 65-32. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ferris got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Arianna Carey out in front who went 7 for 10 on her way to 18 points. What's more, Carey also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in January. Carly Quiroz was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

With the victory, Ferris broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9. As for Life Waxahachie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ferris will take on Venus at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Ferris has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Life Waxahachie, they will square off against Hillsboro at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Hillsboro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.
