Charter Oak put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the West Covina Bulldogs 14-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-1 on Monday.

Mibella Huerta tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jayla Brown was a standout: she fired off two home runs, four runs, and two doubles while going 4-for-4. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyla Caston, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4.

Charter Oak lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Charter Oak's win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-0. As for West Covina, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14-1.

As of now, neither Charter Oak nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
