The Fishburne Military Caissons will square off against the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Fishburne Military is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over Eastern Mennonite on Thursday. The Caissons haven't had any issues with the Flames recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Cooper Ezersky made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Ezersky was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs. Fishburne Military is undefeated when Ezersky posts two or more runs, but 0-9 otherwise.
In other batting news, Fishburne Military got a massive performance out of Mason Worsham, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Worsham a new career-high. Michael Mazzetti was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run.
Fishburne Military kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Hargrave Military Academy played against Blue Ridge on Thursday and won via forfeit.
For Hargrave Military Academy's part, the team relied heavily on Miles Rountrey, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Delaney, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Fishburne Military's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Hargrave Military Academy, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.
