Recap: North Stafford Wolverines vs. Massaponax Panthers
This season hasn't been kind to The North Stafford Wolverines, who are still winless after their eighth match. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Massaponax on Friday. North Stafford has struggled against Massaponax recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was William Wiggins, who rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
North Stafford's loss was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. As for Massaponax, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
North Stafford will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. Mountain View will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Massaponax, they will head out on the road to face off against Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
