Football Recap: St. James Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. James can now relate to. They were dealt a 41-14 defeat at the hands of the Westwood Redhawks on Friday. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Curren Coggins threw for 125 yards and a pair of TDs. Griffin Larrow was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Leading Westwood to victory were Jovan Howard and Cohen Scott. Howard rushed for 92 yards and one score on only ten carries, while Scott rushed for 60 yards and one touchdown.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Westwood, their record now sits at 7-4.

St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westwood, they will square off against Berkeley on Friday. The Stags will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Redhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
