Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Crean Lutheran walked away with it. They came out on top against the San Clemente Tritons by a score of 68-56 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won four contests in a row.

Despite the loss, San Clemente still got an impressive performance from Porter Hansen, who posted 23 points. The matchup was Hansen's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. Desi Gutierrez was another key player, putting up nine points.

Crean Lutheran pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for San Clemente, their loss dropped their record down to 23-6.

Coming up, Crean Lutheran will take on Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brentwood School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Crean Lutheran likes a good challenge. San Clemente does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
