Baseball Recap: Watseka Warriors vs. Iroquois West Raiders

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against LeRoy, Watseka was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Iroquois West Raiders. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Watseka's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Waugh, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
