Softball Recap: Notre Dame Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Notre Dame walked away with it. They came out on top against the San Bernardino Cardinals by a score of 5-1 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Mikey Rodriguez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Teresa Avila was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Shea McCann, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Notre Dame now has a winning record of 12-11-1. As for San Bernardino, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.

As of now, neither Notre Dame nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
