Soccer Recap: Stony Point Comes Up Short

Stony Point lost against Vista Ridge back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Stony Point Tigers fell 3-1 to the Vista Ridge Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Rangers are ranked 33rd).

Stony Point now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Vista Ridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Stony Point wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-4 draw against McNeil on the 22nd. As for Vista Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-1 loss against Vandegrift on the 22nd.
