Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Pawhuska entered their tilt with Silo on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over the Silo Rebels.

Pawhuska's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Miles, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards. Miles is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Hannah Reynolds was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.

Pawhuska's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Silo, they moved to 7-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pawhuska and Silo should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Pawhuska (ranked 44th) will meet Newkirk (ranked 200th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pawhuska is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Silo (ranked 121st) will meet Sulphur (ranked 374th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
