Softball Recap: Kalida Takes a Loss

Kalida lost against Antwerp back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Archers, falling 15-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kalida saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Vorst, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Kalida's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Antwerp, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Kalida is taking a road trip to face off against Hardin Northern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Antwerp has already played their next game (against Wayne Trace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
