Baseball Recap: Rudder Comes Up Short

Rudder lost against A&M Consolidated last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rudder Rangers came up short against the A&M Consolidated Tigers, falling 10-4. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jose Ponce made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Austin Isom, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Rudder's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-2. As for A&M Consolidated, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rudder will face off against Huntsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for A&M Consolidated, they will challenge Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
