Franklin Central extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 8-2 in the process. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Southport Cardinals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ethan Tatman paced Franklin Central's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tatman got some help from Sang Lian and his 20 assists. Finally, Nicholas Hulskotter kept Franklin Central's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

As for Southport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

When it comes to explaining why Southport lost, don't look at Isaiah Martinez-Roseman. Despite the final result, he had 16 digs and two assists.
