Volleyball Recap: Van Nuys Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Van Nuys won the last time they faced Canoga Park and things went their way on Monday too. The Van Nuys Wolves walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Canoga Park Hunters. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Wolves this season.

Van Nuys walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 17-25, 28-26, 25-17.

Van Nuys pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Canoga Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Nuys will host Sylmar at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sylmar will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Van Nuys surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canoga Park, they will welcome Lake Balboa College Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
