Softball Recap: Clyde-Savannah Comes Up Short

Lyons hit Clyde-Savannah with a eight-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Golden Eagles came up short against the Lions, falling 12-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Golden Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Clyde-Savannah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lyons, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.
