Volleyball Recap: Darlington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Darlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwestern Wildcats. The Redbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 25-22, 23-25, 27-25.

Darlington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Southwestern, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Coming up, Darlington will face off against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Chieftains have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Southwestern, they will challenge Boscobel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
