Softball Recap: Harbor Teacher Starts Season with Victory at Home

Harbor Teacher gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over the Gardena Panthers. The Monarchs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Briana Alagba was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Castaneda, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
