Cassidee Stoffel turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her 16th in a row with two or fewer walks. For the year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 2.55 over 74 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.516/0.549/0.938 with 30 RBI.

Coming up, Stoffel and Monticello will venture away from home to square off against Pontiac at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Stoffel had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in April of 2024 4-3.
