Basketball Recap: Thornton Fractional South Takes a Loss

Thornton Fractional South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln-Way Central Knights. The Red Wolves were probably out for revenge after losing 67-40 to them when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Thornton Fractional South's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lincoln-Way Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thornton Fractional South will challenge Oak Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they will square off against Lincoln-Way West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
