Soccer Game Preview: American Fork vs. Westlake

The American Fork Cavemen will face off against the Westlake Thunder at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. American Fork will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

American Fork's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Skyridge by a score of 2-0.

Preston Osborne and Beckham Rosenthal scored both of American Fork's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Westlake's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to Pleasant Grove. Westlake have struggled against Pleasant Grove recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for American Fork, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

American Fork was able to grind out a solid victory over Westlake in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Does American Fork have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westlake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
