Basketball Recap: Seiling Takes a Loss

Seiling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 61-44 bruising from the Texhoma Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 152nd).

Seiling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Texhoma, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seiling will challenge Cyril at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Texhoma, they will face off against Balko/Forgan at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Texhoma knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Balko/Forgan likes a good challenge.
