Softball Recap: Hatboro-Horsham Takes a Loss

Hatboro-Horsham was the 8-0 winner over New Hope-Solebury when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hatters fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-4 on Thursday.

Hatboro-Horsham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Conn, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Cara Neeld also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Hatboro-Horsham has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for New Hope-Solebury, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hatboro-Horsham is taking a road trip to face off against Central Bucks West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Hope-Solebury, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against MAST Community Charter at 3:45 p.m.
